Stefan M. Petters - Senior Researcher

Trustworthy Embedded Systems Project

Research Interests

The research interests of Dr. Petters include real-time and embedded systems in general; worst case execution time analysis; schedulability analysis; compiler support for predictable real-time systems; probabilistic timing analysis; power aware and reconfigurable computing.

NICTA Projects

Dr Petters headed the Potoroo project, which aimed to complement the functional correctness pursued in the L4 verified project with temporal analysis.

Career Summary

Before joining NICTA's ERTOS program Dr. Petters spent more than two years at the real time research group at the University of York, United Kingdom as Research Associate and Teaching Fellow. Prior to that he spent almost seven years as Research Associate and Lecturer at the Institute for Real Time Computer Systems, Technische Universität M&ünchen, Munich, Germany.

Qualifications

Dr. Petters received his 1995 Dipl.-Ing. degrees from the Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany. During his time at the Institute for Real Time Computer Systems he worked towards his doctoral degree which he received in 2002.

Affiliations

Dr Petters is a member of the IEEE and IEEE Computer Society
